or maybe 2 words...twilight saga.

I am slightly obsessed I think. I knew that EVERYONE who read the books were obsessed. I didn't understand until I started the series. OH EM GEEEE. I love it. I am not really a reader so when I read a 560ish page book in two days. You know they are good.

Lucky for me...I am off of school today and Eclipse is waiting for me on the coffee table. Check ya later :)

ohhh yeah.

This past weekend I ran another half marathon. Supa fun. Seriously..it might not sound fun but it totally is...especially when you are running with a best friend!! I ran much faster this time (thanks to Jen) and finished the race in 1:54! (last time I did it in 2:09....not to be mistaken for 3:09 :)

I didn't know I could run that fast. I averaged 8:45ish pace throughout the 13.1 miles. CRAZY. I mean, I trained running about a 10 minute pace. CLEARLY I was not pushing myself enough...and now Jen knows I can run that fast so she is going to kill me when we run together. Grrrr.


More good news...hubby sent me flowers to school yesterday. I don't know if he has ever done that so I was really surprised and excited. I mean, he GETS me flowers...just never sends them. Super sweet!

I think that is all I have to report today. I'm sure I could think of something else to ramble on about but it is unnecessary. And I'm sure all two and a half of you that read this have better things to do. lol

SNOW...and a tiny accomplishment on PS Elements

Happy Snow Day! No school for me. Just hanging out around the house, doing some laundry, playing in the snow with Rebel, etc.


Now for my tiny accomplishment on PhotoShop Elements. I just downloaded the trial to play around with it. I was kind of lost at first. I didn't really know what to do...or fix. Then I found a picture of Jared with a glare on his glasses. It was a GREAT picture of my brothers and dad so I decided to work on it. I found a few online step by step guides for this and here is the result!

Not too bad, huh? I mean, it works for me! Still have a LOT to learn though.

Christmas

Well I had a WONDERFUL Christmas. I was extremely exhausted by the time we got back to the "Port" but I wouldn't trade any of the craziness!
So I got a new camera for Christmas! A Canon Rebel T1I and I am in love. I got a few tips from Jordan's cousin on how to use it but I still have a LOT to learn. I am excited about a new hobby. SO needless to say, I was a picture takin fool at Christmas. Here are a few pics from our Christmas...

Its that time of year again....

Time to pick out Christmas Cards! I love Christmas and getting everyone's cards in the mail. Is that weird? I guess it makes me feel special! So I return the favor, and send out cards as well. Who wouldn't want a fancy picture of me and hubby?? Can't think of anyone...Now I have been doing some serious debating on which Christmas card I want to send out, which picture should I put, how much should I really spend on these cards, etc. It is always a process but I can't get away from Shutterfly! Oh how I love you Shutterfly. I have ordered my christmas cards from there for the past two years and no matter how much research I do, it is always the most economical for us. (not to mention they have some of the cutest cards!) Here are a few of my top picks! For the moment anyway, my favorites are subject to change!!



So that being said Shutterfly is also giving away 50 FREE Christmas Cards!! Who can pass that up?? I would have picked Shutterfly anyway BUT the 50 free cards definitely help. I'll probably add a few extra things to my order...perhaps some super cute thank you cards or a photo calendar!

I did it! Trained for a half marathon and ran it last weekend. It was actually fun too. The atmosphere was amazing. 26,000 people racing, bands playing every mile or so, people cheering along the race course. I think I'll do it again! Maybe 26.2 next time??
